Question Tag

 Adalah pertanyaan berekor yang fungsinya untuk mempertegas suatu pernyataan.

 Syarat utama sbb :

·   Bila kalimat peryataan dalam bentuk positif, maka tag nya dalam bentuk negative,

   Begitu pula sebaliknya

Kalimat mengandung Auxiliary

S + auxiliary + V + O, auxiliary not + S ?

ex: She is going to come here, isn’t she?

S + auxiliary not + V + O, auxiliary + S ?

ex: He can not go now, can he?

Kalimat Tidak mengandung Auxiliary

S + V1 + O, do/does not + S ?

ex: She loves me, doesn’t he?

S + V2 + O, did not + S ?

ex: He went to school, didn’t he?

S + do/does/did not + V + O, do/does/did ?

ex: They don’t want to join us, do they?

       We didn’t see them, did we?
